“Why don’t you send everyone proof of life first?”
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on Saturday amplified false claims circulating on social media that President Donald Trump had died and that the White House was hiding it from the public.
Pritzker’s comments came in response to a Trump post on Truth Social in which the president called him a “weak” and “pathetic” governor. On X, Pritzker replied, “Why don’t you send everyone proof of life first?”
Over the weekend, a number of left-wing social media users falsely claimed that Trump had died after he was not seen in public for about 72 hours. The speculation grew on Friday when users noted his limited public schedule on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday, however, Trump was seen heading to his Trump National Golf Club in Virginia alongside his granddaughter Kai.
The remarks from Pritzker come as tensions between the governor and the president continue to escalate. Pritzker, considered a potential contender for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, has clashed with Trump over his proposal to send National Guard troops to Chicago to combat crime similar to what was done in Washington, DC. Pritzker denounced the plan as an “attack on the American people” and claimed that Trump’s real intent would be to use military force to interfere with the 2026 midterm elections.
“He'll just claim that there's some problem with an election, and then he's got troops on the ground that can take control if, in fact, he's allowed to do this,” Pritzker told CBS News’ Face the Nation.

TDS is strong with this one. But, have the fine folks of illinois keep voting for the destruction of their state. They get to pay for it.
