Faces on the balloons included Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, NY Judge Arthur Engoron, and Biden’s Special Counsel Jack Smith.
The Manhattan sky was filled with 100 pink penis-shaped balloons featuring the faces of Donald Trump enemies outside the Manhattan courthouse on Thursday, where the former president’s falsified business documents case is taking place.
Faces on the balloon installation, created by New York artist Scott Lobaido, included Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, NY Judge Arthur Engoron, and Biden’s Special Counsel Jack Smith, the New York Post reports.
Lobaido pulled up near the courthouse during Trump’s trial in a Uhaul truck and released the shiny pink penis balloons in the air.
The art installation titled the “D*cks of Hazard” was created by the artist to show that “these guys are a bunch of useless d*cks,” according to the outlet. “As a New Yorker, this is how we talk,” Lobaido told The New York Post. Lobaido said the project cost him $1500 and took him two days to get the faces on the balloons. He believes Engoron, Merchan, Smith, and Bragg are plotting to "destroy" Trump and "the constitution" out of "disrespect" for the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee. The Staten Island artist explained that he decided to release the balloons on Thursday because it could have been the last day of Trump’s trial, and he remarked that he received a favorable response to his artwork. “They loved it!” Lobaido told the outlet. Trump, who has entered a not-guilty plea to 34 felony counts of falsifying business documents, faces the possibility of incarceration should he be found guilty. It has been alleged by prosecutors that the former president instructed his former attorney, Michael Cohen, to provide Stormy Daniels with a $130,000 “hush money” payment in order to prevent allegations that the two had engaged in extramarital affairs prior to the 2016 presidential election.
