A "kink" psychotherapist has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a trans-identifying teen in New York City. Remington Yhap, 47, reportedly preyed on his 17-year-old patient during a psychotherapy session at his office in Manhattan. Officials warned that there might be more victims, the New York Post reported.

Yhap was charged on July 29 with three counts of rape and endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in custody on a $150,000 bond, jail records show.

The alleged sexual assault occurred on June 15 at Liberation Psychotherapy's Midtown office, according to court records. Yhap also reportedly showed the victim nude photos of several different people and repeatedly asked his patient, when his client was 16, if they had been masturbating, prosecutors said.

Yhap, a self-described cisgender gay man who specializes in "kink" and "sex," writes in his company's online biography that the heart of his practice "is active listening through an integrative lens, providing a space for clients to explore, heal, and grow openly."

"I am dedicated to co-creating a safe, nurturing environment that allows clients to develop authentically, free from fear or shame," said Yhap, whose psychotherapy focus is LGBTQ+ mental health, HIV/AIDS, depression, and sex, including kink, non-monogamy/ployamory, and sex work, according to the website.

Law enforcement sources told the NYP that there's a "large possibility" that Yhap preyed on other clients. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office urged any victims of sexual assault to call the office's Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Bureau at 212-335-9373.

Yhap will appear back in court on October 1.
