On Friday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) revealed that they are searching for three men wanted in connection to a human trafficking operation.
According to Fort Sask Online, the RCMP concluded an 18-month investigation into human trafficking in June, and issued warrants for four people involved in a group that operates across Western Canada.
Kenny Jouthe, one of the four men wanted, turned himself into the Provincial Court of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Oct. 6, according to the RCMP.
The RCMP is still searching for 32-year-old Billy Glenold-Fleury, 33-year-old Mali Jean and 32-year-old Bechir Ben Salah.
The three are wanted on Canada-wide warrants, and each is charged with trafficking persons, material benefit from trafficking in persons, withholding or destroying identifying documents, and charges relating to Participating in the Activities of a Criminal Organization, according to the RCMP.
The RCMP states that these individuals all have ties to the provinces of Saskatchewan, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia, and are requesting any information regarding the mens' whereabouts.
