The Turning Point USA chapter on UVU campus has been targeted by these left-wing groups.
A report from The Cougar Chronicle, a student-run newspaper at Brigham Young University, reveals screenshots from Discord chats and materials showing a network of left-wing students that have often engaged in extremism.
In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination, a left-wing group on campus was formed called “The Civil Disobedience Club” (CDC). The Chronicle was able to obtain screenshots of messages shared in the group chat reveling in Kirk's assassination.

One screenshot obtained by the outlet showed Kirk being shot in the neck with a laser beam. He was killed with a shot to the neck and his murder was captured on live stream.
Since Kirk was assassinated, there have been efforts from students to create a memorial in his honor. Both the CDC and UVU's chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), have organized protests to stop the effort.
During a protest, chalk writing on pavement reads "Bella Ciao"—the words of an Antifa theme song which were inscribed on one of the bullets used to shoot Charlie Kirk. Tyler Robinson faces prosecution for that murder.
Other graphics posted by club members showed an ICE agent being shot in the head with the words "ICE out" written by the outline of the agent.

In another instance, SDS and CDC held an anti-ICE protest and agitators were given a list of "Seven Steps to Stop ICE." The instructions included a call to “set a combative example” by “impos[ing] consequences every time that ICE inflicts harm on a community.”
The sheet further told the left-wing students that "the consequences of cooperating with ICE … must be worse than the consequences of not doing so.”
In the last several months, the Turning Point USA chapter on UVU campus has been targeted in several instances because of the left-wing groups.

Discord messages from the CDC also showed a combative effort against UVU's TPUSA chapter planning to host a fundraiser at A Dave's Hot Chicken, with the groups then targeting the restaurant with fake negative reviews. In a call out post, the SDS said that their members needed to "kick TPUSA off campus."

The Chronicle reported that in January, a leftist student pushed a baby stroller with a baby in it out of the way as he lunged to try to deface a poster at a TPUSA tabling event that read "For Charlie."
