A disturbing video circulating on social media shows drag performers reenacting and mocking the 2025 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. A performer wearing a white, bloodied "Freedom" T-shirt with a fake neck wound gleefully dances to the song "Bulletproof" while images of Kirk appear across the screen behind him.

The clip comes from "Turning Point U.S. Gay," a touring satirical drag show that mocks major conservative figures. The event took place on August 7 at the San Francisco LGBTQ nightclub "Oasis." In previous performances, the group mocked Kirk's widow, Erika, the current CEO of Turning Point USA.

Similar shows have been marketed as right-wing political satire and fundraisers for the ACLU. Drag performer Lauren Banall, who frequently does Erika Kirk impersonations, is hosting the "world tour," according to the website

Individuals reacted strongly to the clip on social media, slamming the production for turning a brutal killing into entertainment. "They turned a murder into a stage show. There's no coming back from that," one user wrote on X. Others labeled the performances as "vile," "evil," and "disgusting," while some people called for it to be treated like a chargeable offense.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, during a TPUSA speaking event at Utah Valley University. He was struck in the neck with a bullet, according to investigators. Tyler Robinson, then 22, turned himself in and has been charged with aggravated murder and related offenses.

The Aug. 7 event was the opening of the tour. The next date is scheduled for Aug. 28 in Los Angeles, California. The parody show will then hit Salt Lake City, Utah; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; New York City; and Orlando, Florida.
