Gavin Newsom tells former NBA stars ‘anti-woke’ is just ‘anti-black’

Newsom requested that the James Irvine Foundation to make a donation of $500,00 to the Immigrant Defenders Law Center.
“An impeachment inquiry?” Newsom said. “This is a perversity that the founding fathers never conceived of and imagined.”
A focus of the nine-member “Reparations Task Force,” formed by Newsom in 2020, is to compensate black Californians who were affected by discriminatory housing discrimination practices utilized from 1933-1977.
Critics quickly reminded Newsom of his own actions during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he attended a dinner party at the upscale French Laundry restaurant.
“It’s the same story, different vintage. Newsom sips Cabernet while his state burns.”
The governor is facing backlash after the discovery.
“Discrimination based on caste is already prohibited under these existing categories, this bill is unnecessary.”
Newsom wrote, “I urge US DOJ to investigate whether the alleged fraudulent inducement would support charges of kidnapping under relevant state laws.”
“You are playing with fire, risking the destabilization of our democracy, while knowing that California can neutralize any gains you hope to make.”
