A Montgomery County, Texas, couple was arrested recently for alleged sex crimes that included child porn and bestiality after police found disturbing images on the husband's phone when he was accused of exposing himself to children.

According to the Daily Mail, 53-year-old Joely Keen and her husband 52-year-old William Mitchell Keen were arrested on March 27 after police discovered child porn on William's phone, along with videos of Joely allegedly engaging in sex with their pet dog, a Great Dane.

The investigation into William's phone began after he was arrested on March 13 for allegedly following children in an H-E-B supermarket masturbating. He was later accused of exposing himself to a child in the store and charged with indecent exposure to a child.

After discovering the images on the phone, authorities charged Joely with bestiality, and she was released on a $5,000 bond. Her Husband was charged with a third-degree felony for having less than 100 images of child porn and was released on a $50,000 bond.

When police raided the couple's home they discovered the couple's two children aged 18 and 10, along with three dogs. Montgomery County Constable Lieutenant Ken Washington told the outlet, "We don't know what kind of environment they were exposed to on a regular basis. Maybe they weren't exposed to anything. Maybe they were exposed to a lot."

"It's not normal. In the 20-plus years I've been doing this job, it doesn't cease to amaze me," he added. "Something comes up every now and again when you are investigating a crime. So when these detectives were going through this investigation, and they find the images and the video and the sexual acts, that's extremely concerning. But then you see an animal involved, which makes this odd."

Joely was fired from her job as a family nurse after her arrest. The children were sent to live with relatives, while the dogs were taken in by Montgomery County Animal Services.
