Toronto-area doctor arrested in connection to sexual assault of teen patient

On Friday, Toronto Police Services arrested Jacques Henri Dubins, 77, in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage patient.

On Friday, Toronto Police Services arrested Jacques Henri Dubins, 77, in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage patient.

Dubins was employed between July 1970 and August 2016 at a medical clinic located in the Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.

A statement released by Toronto Police Services states that Dubins allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old boy who was a patient of his on February 2, 2006.

Dubins was arrested on Wednesday April 21, 2021 and was charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Exploitation.

He was reportedly not practicing medicine at the time of his arrest.

His court date is set for May 25, 2021 at 2:30pm.

Police are searching to find if there were more victims.
