Trans Minnesota Catholic school shooter said 'furry' ex-girlfriend was 'root of my suffering' in deranged manifesto: report

Trans shooter Robin “Robert” Westman dumped his girlfriend recently before the shooting, and described the ex as the “root of my suffering” in a manifesto. The 23-year-old shot and killed two children at a Minneapolis Catholic school as well as injured 18 others in late August and blamed the ex-girlfriend for the massacre. 

Westman’s father had previously revealed that the shooter only recently called it quits with the ex, who the Daily Mail identified as 22-year-old Abigail Bodick. Bodick, which the outlet described as a "furry," was seen in pictures on social media with cat ears and whiskers earlier this year at an anime convention.

Westman, who referred to her as “Aby” or "Abbey” in writings, said that Bodick was the “catalyst” to the shooter’s deranged behavior. Bodick also reportedly went by the name "Jakub." Westman also wrote about a fascination with “furries,” people who dress up with masks as cartoon-like animals. Westman also blamed Bodick for the massacre, "I hope everyone blames you for making me do this. It's your fault."

“I like feeling sexy and cute, but my face never matches how I feel. I hate my face… maybe that’s why I like furries so much,” Westman wrote. “You can give yourself a new body and face.”

The outlet was able to obtain photos of Westman and Bodick going back to at least 2022. In one photo, the couple was selling items at a booth, and another showed them at an aquarium.

Westman wrote the entries, “Aby is such a baby. I should have never started dating them.”

“I am NOT spending my life with a ‘blue hair and pronouns’ having a** b*tch. You are lucky I have bigger plans than you,” the shooter wrote in another entry. Westman reportedly wrote down, “I just pointed my pistol at the back of Abbey’s head to see if I would feel anything.”

“No, the only thing I felt was fear of them turning around and catching me. I felt no remorse or fear of killing them, I was only concerned about how murdering Abbey would really f*ck up my plans,” the shooter said in another entry.

“It felt good, actually, to point it right at their stupid head. Abbey is so f*king stupid, I have been handling and walking with it holstered, exposed, all day, and they still think it’s airsoft,” Westman wrote. “Dumbass b*tch! It’s a real gun! I bought it to kill kids!”

“I want to kill so many people. I will do it. All I want to think about is guns and killing. Abbey keeps me from that with their annoying voice and stupid sh*t they say,” he reportedly added. “Let’s see how much you love me after I complete my mission!”
