President Donald Trump has said that the UK has to curb illegal immigration before it destroys the country, and suggested that the UK use whatever means necessary to do it, including the military. Trump has made immigration enforcement in the US one of the top issues of his administration.

"I think your situation is very similar. You know, you have people coming in. I told the Prime Minister I would stop it. And it doesn't matter if you call out the military, it doesn't matter what means you use, but ... it destroys countries from within, and we're actually now removing a lot of the people that came into our country," Trump said as he appeared alongside UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

"It's a very hard chore. It's a very, we were given a very, very bad hand. Millions of people came in from prisons and mental institutions. We have to remove them, and we are removing them. We have no choice. And I feel very strongly about it," Trump added.

Trump has previously deployed the National Guard in efforts to help Immigration and Customs Enforcement to crack down on illegal immigration in various places around the country and to crack down on crime. This has included in California as well as Washington, DC. Trump has also mobilized the National Guard in 19 states to assist ICE with processing immigration cases.

In addition to speaking about illegal immigration, Trump and Starmer spoke about the war between Hamas and Israel. Trump laid out that he wanted the hostages held by Hamas to be "released now." The president also addressed the tech deal that the US struck with the UK.
