Former President Donald Trump announced upcoming campaign rallies at Madison Square Garden and South Bronx, according to Newsmax.
The rally at Madison Square Garden will honor police officers, firefighters, and teachers, while the one in South Bronx appears to be a strategic campaign move to further his support among the black community.
"We'll be honoring the people who make New York work," Trump said. "We're honoring a lot of people. It will be very exciting."
Trump made the announcement to reporters outside the Manhattan courthouse on Thursday, where his falsified business documents case brought forth by DA Alvin Bragg is taking place.
He did not reveal the dates or times of the rallies.
Trump, who is the presumptive GOP nominee, has been ordered by New York Judge Juan Merchan to remain in court every day of the trial, which has impacted his ability to campaign for president.
He has is accused of fabricating business records in order to pay hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels, according to her assertion that she and Trump had an affair.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to the 34 felony charges in the case.
While Trump has been ordered to be present every day of his trial or face arrest, the former president has made several campaign appearances across the Big Apple in his spare time.
On Thursday, Trump received overwhelming support from Teamster union workers when visited one of their construction sites in NYC.
Additionally, he was met with a large crowd of supporters when he stopped by a bodega in Harlem. That visit included kids leading a chant of "We love Trump."
