President Donald Trump announced the formation of a new “Super Intelligence Force” (SIF) tasked with ensuring the United States maintains its global leadership in artificial intelligence. The force will coordinate federal government engagement with consumers, religious and public interest groups, and critical infrastructure providers.

“Following the Historic White House Accord on Super Intelligence, where the World's most important Technology Companies came together, and confirmed their responsibilities to the American People, I am announcing the formation of the Super Intelligence Force (SIF),” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “The Super Intelligence Force is tasked with coordinating the effort of the Federal Government to ensure that America continues to lead the World in Super Intelligence, which many say is bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and the Internet, and will protect the interests, and improve the lives, of all Americans”

“The Super Intelligence Force will coordinate the Federal Government's engagement with Consumers, Public Interest Groups, Religious Organizations, Critical Infrastructure Providers, and Super Intelligence Companies, and will be led by Director of National Intelligence, Jay Clayton, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, Andrew Ferguson, Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, and Chief Technology Officer, Emil Michael, and Director of the Office of Personnel Management, Scott Kupor, and will report to the President of the United States (ME!), and the Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles,” Trump added.

The announcement comes after Trump officially renamed artificial intelligence to “super intelligence” across the executive branch. Trump also recently hosted executives from some of the world’s largest technology companies at the White House for a summit, where participants signed onto a “morally binding” agreement.

"They almost viewed it as a separate kind of constitution," Trump said. "When they signed that, it meant a lot."

Among those present were executives from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, xAI and Nvidia. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg described the agreement in a post on social media as a “positive step.”

"I think it's a significant positive step that the leaders of every major American lab have committed to implementing robust internal controls and multiple layers of audits and reviews," Zuckerberg wrote.

The White House also recently launched an AI-powered federal government website designed to streamline access to government services for Americans. The website was unveiled Tuesday, alongside an executive order directing federal agencies to make their websites “integrate directly” with the platform.
