Former President Donald Trump has released a statement to remind the media that he was responsible for the distributing of the COVID vaccine.

“I hope everyone remembers when they’re getting the COVID-19 (often referred to as the China Virus) Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful “shot” for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn’t be getting it at all,” said Trump. “I hope everyone remembers!”

The former president’s reference to the disease, which first appeared in Wuhan, China, as the “China Virus” was banned by President Joe Biden, who prohibited government from linking references to the virus to its country of origin.

In January, Biden released a memorandum stating that “Inflammatory and xenophobic rhetoric has put Asian-American and Pacific Islander persons, families, communities, and businesses at risk.”

Trump’s statement comes amid Big Tech’s efforts to deplatform and censor him from most social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, which has forced the former president to put out extended tweets in the form of press releases.
