President Donald Trump's legal team issued a statement, Sunday, distancing itself from attorney Sidney Powell, saying she is "practicing law on her own."
The statement read, "Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity."
The statement was signed by Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

The statement follows a slew of unsubstantiated claims made by Powell regarding alleged voter fraud in the 2020 U.S. election.
Powell appeared alongside Giuliani many times in recent weeks at press conferences concerning Trump's legal challenge to the election results.
President Trump has previously included Powell as a member of his legal team alongside Giuliani, Ellis, Joseph DiGenova and Victoria Toensing.
I look forward to Mayor Giuliani spearheading the legal effort to defend OUR RIGHT to FREE and FAIR ELECTIONS! Rudy Giuliani, Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis, a truly great team, added to our other wonderful lawyers and representatives!

Gen. Flynn released a statement on behalf of Sidney Powell to state that she agrees with the Trump law team's press release.
.@SidneyPowell1 has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours. She understands the WH press release & agrees with it. She is staying the course to prove the massive deliberate election fraud that robbed #WeThePeople of our votes for President Trump & other Republican candidates.
