There were at least 10 male Secret Service agents and just one female that was with Trump at the RNC.
Donald Trump came to the Republican National Convention with what appeared to be a male-majority Secret Service (USSS) detail, a much different picture than what was seen at the rally where he was nearly shot by a would-be assassin over the weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, at least 10 male USSS agents and only one female agent were seen walking with Trump in a formation around him as he walked around the event on Monday.
The image of having a large number of male USSS was in contrast with the images from the assassination attempt on Saturday where at least three female USSS agents were seen trying to protect the president during the chaos of the event and whisking him off the stage. The female agents had been too short to shield the six-foot-three Trump.
This comes after USSS Director Kimberly Cheatle vowed to make 30 percent of USSS agents female by the year 2030.
Kenneth Gray, an ex-FBI special agent, told the Daily Mail that the agency had "'really screwed up in their planning for" the rally. "It's possible to have a tough female out there who doing her job, just like you have males out there who may not be capable of doing their jobs. It's just that, during this particular event, there were questionable actions on the part of some agents, including some females [sic] agents, that raises one's eyebrows."
Some on social media were quick to point out the stark difference between the USSS presence at the RNC versus the rally, “This makes sense, Biology gives no f*cks to your opinions. This is a better way to protect the man."
"Trump’s new secret service team is all MEN now. During the assassination attempt, women agents were seen fumbling with holsters, hiding behind Trump, and generally being inept. Is security or the military really a good place for women?" another posted.

DEI didn't work at the Trump rally. Why would SS think it would work at the RNC?
