A DHS facility in Williston, Vermont was found to have been vandalized on Sunday morning with phrases like "kill yourselves," "shoot yourselves," "hang yourself," "not safe," and "die." There was a protest against federal law enforcement on Sunday between the buildings.

That protest was put together by the Vermont chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Organizers with that group said they were not responsible for the vandalism. Attacks against ICE facilities, with the intention to prevent immigration enforcement, have been in many cities nationwide.

The VT Digger reports that the word "scum" was written across the entrance of the building along with the phrase "we will kidnap you and your kids." DHS confirmed those reports, and that the matter is under investigation.

"On Sunday, October 12, threatening messages were discovered graffitied on the USCIS building in Williston, Vermont. Vandals wrote, 'kill yourselves,' 'your not safe were coming,' and 'die,' on our federal building.

"We are not going to allow domestic terrorists to attack our law enforcement. DHS has already arrested dozens of Antifa-aligned left-wing violent extremists who have attacked law enforcement, murdered innocent civilians, and launched a wave of violent riots throughout the United States.

"Secretary Noem’s message to the rioters is clear: you will not stop us or slow us down. Federal law enforcement and the Williston Police Department are actively investigating these threats."

Police tape surrounded the building after the messages were discovered and federal law enforcement monitored the situation. The building is across from an ICE facility for which the agency has intentions to hire more staff to expand surveillance.
