VIET HONG: Wisconsin voter blasts communist gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong ahead of midterms

As Wisconsinites head to the polls to vote in the state’s primaries, one Wisconsin voter had strong words against socialist Francesca Hong, who is running in the Democratic primary for governor. Hong is the favored winner of the Democratic primary in the state, while Tom Tiffany is the favored Republican. 

The man, who appeared to be a hot dog vendor, went on a tirade against Hong and socialists when YouTuber Nate Friedman asked, “we’re asking people who they support, could we ask you?”

“All I know is who I don’t support,” the man replied. When Friedman asked him to elaborate, the man said, “Viet Cong. Yeah. F*cking communist piece of sh*t.”

He continued, “No, I don’t support the Democrat Socialists of America. F*ck ‘em. If you think communism is so good, move to Havana, move to Pyongyang, or move to Caracas, Venezuela. I’ll pay for your f*cking airfare, but you got to renounce your American citizenship. You can’t come back. I’ll pay for that, too.” 

“Get out of the country. This—these young people are f*cking so full of sh*t, and so is your mayor in Chicago, Brandon Johnson. That piece of sh*t, F*ck these godd*mn pieces of sh*t politicians. That’s what I think.”

Friedman said he had spoken to some young people who said that Americans don’t need to be worried about socialism. The man said young people “don’t even know what communism is,” and pointed to New York City’s socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani. “I mean, this country’s going to sh*t, dude.” 

Hong has come under fire for comments she has made in the past, including saying her “proximity to whiteness” affects her biracial son, calling to “86” President Trump, and saying that Thanksgiving is “incredibly painful for many people in our communities.”
