“Your governments have been complicit in and utterly responsible for the deaths of millions of men women and children across al-Sham, Iraq, and our beloved Al Quds. "
A Virginia man is under arrest by the FBI for allegedly transmitting information on building a bomb that could have been used against the Israeli consulate in New York. Documents indicate that Abdullah Ezzeldin Taha Mohamed Hassan was passing information on to an FBI informant, Court Watch reported.
In May, local police first learned of an X account sympathetic to ISIS. The posts indicated previous support of ISIS operations and adherence to ideologically extremist opinions. An FBI informant replied to one of Hassan’s posts and the two began writing about their allegedly like-minded beliefs and objectives.
According to the charging documents, in November, Hassan sent the FBI human source the coordinates of the Israeli consulate in New York City. Hassan also allegedly told the FBI contact how to create a martyrdom video, telling him that he should declare: “Your governments have been complicit in and utterly responsible for the deaths of millions of men women and children across al-Sham, Iraq, and our beloved Al Quds. Now has come for revenge. As you weaponize yourselves with your tanks and missiles and jets, we weaponize ourselves with the Wrath of Allah AZWJL upon you. However, you may try to find and kill us, Allah AZWJL will replace our fallen with more muwahidden, bent on eradicating the corruption that you have brought forth ... “
The FBI says Hassan allegedly gave its informant internet links that offered weapons for sale, complete directions on how to build a bomb and instructions on how best to get out of the United States after executing the bomb attack. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Eastern District of Virginia, prosecuting office for the case, did not comment on the case.
