She called Democrats "smug elite jerks who think they're too smart to listen to anyone outside their own silo."
This after residents of Springfield, Ohio, claimed on social media that Haitian migrants have been capturing and eating pets and geese. However, local city officials have denied that they have received any substantiated reports. Vice President Kamala Harris used the claims to attack former President Donald Trump as unstable after he spoke out on the issue during the presidential debate earlier this week.
Democratic voters have since gone scorched earth on the unsubstantiated consumption of pets claim, alleging racism against migrants.
"Continuing to dump on Trump because of the 'eating cats' issue will create blowback on Nov. 5," Williamson wrote on X in a now-deleted post, as per The Blaze.
"Haitian voodoo is in fact real," Williamson continued, "and to dismiss the story out-of-hand rather than listen to the citizens of Springfield, Ohio confirms in the minds of many voters the stereotype of Democrats as smug elite jerks who think they're too smart to listen to anyone outside their own silo."
Residents have requested that local officials take action to alleviate the consequences of a significant influx of Haitian migrants into their community, irrespective of the pet-eating issue. Residents have also claimed that the city has turned into a "combat zone" as Haitian migrants wreak havoc on the roadways due to reckless driving. They said that the migrants have been obtaining driver's licenses without properly knowing how to drive.
