Liberal MP Janica Atwin said that Canadian kids need to learn critical race theory when they return to class, reports True North.
Critical Race Theory is the practice of defining historical and cultural phenomena through the lens of radical left-wing anti-racism.
"I want Canadian kids to feel good about going back to school and about planning their futures. We need them to study engineering, science, sustainable agriculture and Critical Race Theory," said Atwin.
"We need them to embrace their role in the transition that is under way. I want them to trust in their government, and feel comfort in our demonstrated actions."
Atwin has been a controversial MP for the Liberals, ever since her departure from the Greens, who she was originally elected with.
Atwin departed from the Greens during their internal disagreements on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
