Trump supporters flooded out into the street in Nashville, Tenn. after the presidential debate in that city last night. 2018 saw a wave of victories for progressive candidates in that city, but Trump supporters broke their silence after Trump's win over former Vice President Joe Biden in the presidential debate.
The crowd gathered on Broadway and 3rd Ave, waving Trump flags and cheering for the president, a man about whom nearly no Americans have a neutral view.
Nashville is a notoriously liberal city. Yet the downtown streets were full of Trump supporters. The city welcomed Trump and his supporters.
Senator Marsha Blackburn welcomed Trump to her home state in advance of the debate.
The third and final presidential debate happened in Nashville, and was moderated by Kristen Welker. The election is on Nov. 3, though in states with early voting, and for those who have chosen to cast their votes via mail, many votes are already in. Even if a voter's mind was changed during the course of the debate last night, if the votes have already been mailed, there's no turning back.
