A visibly exhausted policeman took to Tik Tok recently to vent his frustration with the media's and many people's current attitude toward law enforcement.

The man, identified by "Maj. Dingle" on his jacket, stars of by saying:

"I wake up every morning and kiss my family goodbye, knowing that there's a possibility I won't come home."

"I am tired of every time I wake up in the morning, there's someone else polarizing the fact that maybe law enforcement is just not a good thing."

Maj. Dingle becomes visibly upset at this point:

"All of us are not bad. I am not as they are. Most of us are not. There are bad people in ever career."

"I'm so godd**n tired. Tired! Tired!"

"I give everything."

Police all over the country lately are resigning in record numbers. This is possibly due to public perception of them, as is indicated in the above video.

In many cases, police also feel that they don't have official support from the governments for whom they work, either.

For example, in New York City, the mayor decided to eliminate qualified immunity for the NYPD, causing a further wave of resignations and early retirements. This even prompted a former NYPD commissioner to say he will no longer recommend the NYPD to recruits.
