Vernon Jones (R-GA) was being interviewed on Friday by a CNN reporter, where he used an effective tactic of his to disarm them and derail their "narrative".

"I want you to ask the Attorney General [Merrick] Garland, I want you to ask him why he wants to come to Georgia and investigate Georgia's so-called 'Jim Crow laws', but he won't investigate or even ask for a forensic audit of the 159 counties in Georgia. He won't even look at [Stacy Abrams]'s law that was used in our election vs. state law."

"Now that's a fact, and that's an undisputed violation of the Constitution."

Here Jones takes a leadership role and uses the interviewers' techniques on them:

"I'll ask you: were drop-off boxes used in the 2020 election? .... Now, be as bold as you were bold when you asked Rudy Giuliani [standing right behind Jones] a question."

"Let's put the camera on him [indicating the CNN reporter who was asking questions]. Were the drop-off boxes.... what press are you with?"

"I'm with CNN," replied the reporter.

"Were the drop-off boxes that were used in the election ... This gentleman's with CNN. He's with CNN," confirmed Jones. "What's your name?"

"Tom Sayers."

"OK, this is Mr. Sayers. Were the drop-off boxes used in the 2020 elections and the 2021 run-offs, were those drop-off boxes written to state statute?"

"I do not know, sir."

"Are you open to look and see if they were?"

"Sir, I just ask questions. May I ask you a question?" replied Sayers, trying to regain control of the situation.

Jones continued over Sayers's repeating if he can ask Jones a question, "I'm just asking you a question. You've asked me questions already. Are you going to look into it?"

"Here's CNN. 'Cause CNN is about controlling negros; that's what they're saying. Controlling negros, that's what CNN's about"

"They don't want people of color to have conservative thoughts. [Sayers] is here to keep me [from] running, and keep me from being the Governor of the state. Why? Because liberals, they do not want blacks thinking for themselves. They're here for Stacey Abrams."

Turning back to Sayers, Jones points out:

"You know and I know that drop-off boxes were not in the state statute. You know and I know that the e-net signature verification was not in the statute. Right? We both know that."

I want you to look at that camera. Are you going to investigate that? Look right here at this camera right here. Are you going to investigate that?"

"Sir, there are many people in our organization..." started Sayers

"See, this is the fake news from CNN," concluded Jones. "All they wanna do is control their liberal narrative. And that's it; that's a prime example of it."
