'We can't trust you': Tucker Carlson SLAMS illiberal progressive ideologues with pronouns in their bios

Media Matters has released a series of clips showing Carlson talking candidly behind the scenes in an effort to harm him, though many say these clips have made him more relatable.

Tucker Carlson frequently targeted Media Matters, but since his firing from Fox News, the avowedly leftist not-for-profit media watchdog group has attempted to use their platform to go after Carlson.

The only problem for Media Matters is that the clips they keep leaking, of Carlson on a hot camera before going live on his wildly popular Tucker Carlson Tonight, only serve to make him more likeable.

In one of the latest clips posted by Media Matters for America, former Fox News host Carlson spoke about the "pronoun in bio" people, those who publicly post the pronouns others should use to refer to them. Carlson said that these people cannot be trusted, that they have essentially be ideologically captured.

"I talked to her at great length. It was actually pretty funny,” Carlson said of a conversation with a female Fox executive. "I was like, she's got a lot of liberals working over there. And, you know, they see this as war and we're the main force on the other side."

"That's crazy," he continued. "If you've got pronouns in your Twitter bio, you shouldn't work here because we can't trust you because you're on the other side."

Carlson said he wouldn’t "name names because I don’t know who did it, and I’m definitely not going to cast aspersions on someone unfairly."

"Just because you’re a liberal doesn’t mean you did this," he said. "It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work here. And Roger [Ailes] would never put up with this shit."

"Why would you do that? Do you know what I mean? They see this as war, it’s like … I’m an actual liberal, like, I’m totally fine being like [expletive] our makeup artist is like a screaming lefty."

"Why does he work here?" Carlson asked about a man who worked with host Judge Jeanine Pirro, another Fox New host. "He totally dicked over his anchor and then we expect he’s not going to dick over the network?"

"I’m telling children like you know what the truth is, you can feel it, don’t lie to yourself."

Twitter users expressed their support of Tucker following the release of the clip.

"The latest MMFA leak of Tucker Carlson presents him as extremely based," wrote Ian Miles Cheong of Rebel News.

"Alright I’m officially convinced the Fox News leaker loves Tucker Carlson and wants all of us to love him more than we already do. No other explanation for releasing these hilariously based videos of him," wrote filmmaker and former Tennessee GOP congressional candidate Robby Starbuck.

"Imagine sharing behind the scenes clips to smear someone only to find out that his supporters love it," wrote Trending Politics' Collin Rugg.

"They’ve been leaking these to make Tucker look bad, but instead they humanize him. I didn’t give a crap about the guy before this and didn’t watch him, but the leaks have got me actively rooting for him now," said author LArry Correia.

"Whoever is leaking these Tucker tapes are doing him a favor," another user added. "They’re like coming soon trailers for the Tucker Unfiltered network."

The Guardian reported that the clip came from a discussion Carlson had about cuts that were made to an October 2022 interview he had with Kanye West, material which was then leaked.

Fox is apparently displeased about the leaked clips from Media Matters, and has sent a cease and desist. Fox is likely not pleased that the leaks only serve to strengthen support for Carlson, who they summarily and suddenly fired with no reason publicly given.
