Harvard Caps Harris Poll revealed on Friday that American voters overwhelmingly support restricting sex changes to those under 18 years old, including 67% of Democrats

The poll showed that 78% of American voters support the restrictions, with only 11% of Republicans, 33% of Democrats, and 23% of independent voters believing minors should be allowed access to puberty blockers and surgery.

When asked if schools should be explaining to kids under 10 years old that gender is something they can declare, 70% of voters said that schools should not explain this to kids, with 54% of Democrats in agreement.

49% of respondents said they believe schools are too focused on teaching kids gender and race ideologies, with 83% saying they are satisfied with their children's schools.

These results come as 20 states have passed bills banning the medicalization of gender-questioning youth. While states like California and Oregon move forward to become sanctuary states for families with a minor who wants to transition.

At the same time, the Biden administration called bills to ban gender transition under 18 "callous and cynical." The president said in a speech at a White House Pride event that "These bills and laws attack the most basic values and freedoms."

As parent organizations across the country, like Moms for Liberty and No Left Turn in Education, were placed on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) "hate map' for trying to keep gender ideology out of their children's classrooms, the White House visitor logs showed that the SPLC's director of the Intelligence Project Susan Corke met with the administration in January.

Earlier this month, Armenian American parents clashed with Antifa in two separate incidents while protesting Pride events at schools. Meanwhile, Muslim parents in Montgomery County, Maryland, protested for the ability to opt their children out of LGBTQ teachings.

In 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland launched a task force to investigate parents who spoke at school board meetings as potential terrorists.
