After receiving criticism for his touchdown celebration on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he refuses to bow to "woke, cancel culture."

On Sunday night, the Packers defeated the Bears in Chicago's Soldier Stadium 42-14. While a Green Bay victory was not unusual, what set this game apart was the reaction to quarterback Aaron Rodgers' celebration after he scored the touchdown that sealed the game.

Upon making the play, Rodgers was caught on a hot mic saying to the crowd of Bears fans, "All my f*cking life, I own you. I still own you. I still own you." While the majority of those who heard the comment laughed it off, former Bear Olin Kreutz told 670 the Score that Rodgers's words "did disrespect and offend a whole city."

Rodgers, who claims he said what he said in the heat of the moment after being flipped off by a woman in the stands, went on a tirade against "woke, cancel culture" in an appearance on Pat McAfee's show.

"There’s a PC woke culture that exists,” Rodgers said. "And there’s a Cancel Culture at the same time, and it’s based on people’s own feelings of maybe personal [misery] or distaste for their own situations or life or just the enjoyment of holding other people down underneath their thumb."

He went on to explain how all people need to do to avoid getting sucked in to woke culture is just to ignore it. "There’s a game within the game," he said. "If the player abides by the rules of the game, he’s part of the game. The rules of the game are: You must acquiesce with the woke mob at all times. You must. However, when you live above the game, the game does not exist, and that’s where I’m at."

Most of the banter following Rodgers' comments was lighthearted, though. Even football legend Tom Brady chimed in, congratulating the Packers quarterback for "owning" Soldier Stadium. "Obviously I know he's a great quarterback," Brady said, "but I guess he's now a shareholder of the Bears."
