UPDATE: Amazon updated the cover.

Amazon has uploaded an image of a sexually suggestive art and design publication called "KINFOLK" instead of the proper cover for Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden by Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec, the first book about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The inappropriate cover image first appeared on Friday and was noted by Bulletproof author Posobiec, who tweeted "ATTN: I do not know what is going on but This is NOT the cover for Bulletproof, @Amazon. They are sabotaging the FIRST book every written about the Trump assassination."

The news of the false cover spread fast on social media, with many noting that Amazon has now had ample time to correct the error, but have so far been unresponsive.

"Jack Posobiec’s book on the attempt on Donald Trump’s life still has the wrong cover on Amazon despite trending at the top spot" Ian Miles Cheong noted on X.

The Post Millennial has reviewed correspondence that confirms that the publisher has attempted to open a ticket with Amazon. At the time of publication, Amazon has not made any correction.

Memesters also had a field day with the error.

From the publisher's promotional material: "Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden is the first complete preliminary investigative report on the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump that occurred on July 13, 2024, at 6:11 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in Butler, PA, USA."

It promises to gives a clear, moment-by-moment look at what happened on that important day, focusing on President Trump, law enforcement, and the person who tried to kill him, by digging deeper than the usual news stories, asking tough questions.

The book also reveals new information from private investigators about the secret life of the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks. It explains how the failed assassination attempt led to a political upheaval. The authors, Posobiec and Lisec, back their claims with solid proof.

Despite the October release day being over a month away, it is already the #1 bestseller on Amazon in the categort of Law Enforcement Politics, making it all the more perplexing that the book website giant has not taken steps to remedy the situation.
