Biden admin 'actively facilitating' illegal immigration: Elon Musk

"At this point, there is no question that this administration is actively facilitating illegal immigration. The numbers speak for themselves."

On Thursday, billionaire Elon Musk accused the Biden administration of actively facilitating illegal immigration in the United States. This after recently released data revealed shocking monthly numbers of illegal entries at the US-Southern border since President Biden took over the White House, got rid of strict Trump-era border policies, and created a wide-open border.

"At this point, there is no question that this administration is actively facilitating illegal immigration. The numbers speak for themselves," Musk wrote on X.

Data recently released by CBP shows that there has been more than 2 million illegal crossings within the past year, with more than 6 million encounters since Joe Biden became president in 2021. This is significantly higher than any administration ever to hold office.

However, this data does not include the most recent months which consisted of record-breaking illegal entries. In December, Border Patrol agents recorded over 300,000 encounters with illegal migrants, smashing the previous monthly record of 269,735, which was set in September.

In a follow-up post, Musk claimed that the United States' immigration laws are "madness."

"While it is trivial to enter the United States illegally, it is insanely difficult for legal immigrants to move to the United States. This is madness! We should shut down illegal immigration and greatly increase legal immigration," he said.

The dire illegal immigration crisis doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon as a massive caravan of illegal immigrants was captured on video heading to the United States.

On Wednesday, House Republicans, all of whom have been extremely critical of Biden's open-border policies, flew down to Eagle Pass, Texas, and held a press conference in which they helped further expose the crisis and demanded action be taken in order to secure the nation's sovereignty.

House Speaker Mike Johnson said during the press brief: "Under President Biden, America has laid out a welcome mat to illegal immigrants, smugglers, and cartels. He is responsible for the grave threat to our national security and our nation's sovereignty."

While the press brief was commencing, video footage captured by reporter Auden Cabello showed migrant families crossing the river to enter the US illegally who were then escorted away by Border Patrol agents only to be released back into the United States.

Former President Donald Trump, who is the 2024 GOP presidential frontrunner, has vowed to make border security a top priority if he were to take back the White House in 2025.
