Biden is reportedly already making plans to reverse many of Trump's most major policy decisions, via a barrage of executive orders.
According to a report from The Washington Post, Biden plans to do away with Trump's travel ban titled "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States," which bars travel from countries deemed by the government to be particular terror threats. This order has been dubbed the "Muslim ban," because countries included are Muslim-majority countries.
Biden also plans to reinstate the program that allowed "Dreamers," or illegal immigrants who arrived as children, to stay in the country.
Biden has announced that the "first thing" he wants to do as president is "rejoin the Paris Climate Accord," an agreement that Trump left because it "disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries."

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) said before the election that she was assisting in making a list of Trump policies for Biden to undo.
"We're preparing a list. And the list is long," she told NBC .
"We will work with the Biden administration to ask them to file stays in a number of cases that are pending in the courts all across this country."
Biden has also promised that he would also "undo" Trump's executive orders that eliminated certain Obama-era policies.
"It is cruel and abhorrent to strip migrant children of the few protections they have. It's not enough this administration puts children in cages without soap and beds, now it wants to keep them there indefinitely. This isn't who we are," he tweeted in 2019.
"On day one, I will eliminate President Trump’s decision to limit asylum and undo his executive orders that eliminated Obama-Biden enforcement priorities on national security and public safety."

Biden will likely also reverse Trump's recent establishment of the 1776 Commission, which seeks to preserve the integrity of American education through "patriotic" education, such as the celebration of Constitution Day in public schools.
In the same light, Biden will also likely reverse Trump's order barring the use of training programs that employ the divisive Critical Race Theory for government employees.
