Speaking from the White House lawn on Thursday during a "Take Your Child to Work Day," Biden told guests about his six grandchildren, leaving off his seventh grandchild fathered by his son Hunter Biden with a former stripper.
"I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke. Matter of fact, I just got finished going through the calls, and only one of them answered the phone, but at least I got to leave a message.
Biden continued on to list off the grandchildren: "And my oldest granddaughter is named after one of my daughters who I lost in an accident a long time ago, and her name is Naomi. And then I have number two, I have a daughter who works in the environmental movement, and her name is Finnegan, and named after my mom. And number 3, my granddaughter, I call her my all-American girl, she was such a great little athlete, and she’s about to graduate from college in about two weeks and her name is" he continued, appearing to forget her name before adding "and the nickname we call her is Maisy."
"And then I have two other granddaughter [sic] who I just spoke — did get to speak to, and her name is Natalie, and she is a senior in high school, about to graduate and go off to college where her daddy went to school. And then I have a grandson who’s gonna be a senior in high school. And now I have a new baby boy, he’s three and a half years old, and his daddy named him after his brother, my deceased son, and he’s Beau Biden. And guess what, they’re crazy about me."
Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy Biden are all the children of Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle. Natalie and Robert "Hunter" Biden II are the children of the late Beau Biden and his wife Hallie. The younger Beau Biden is the child of Hunter Biden and his second wife, Melissa Clark, according to CBS News.
Missing from Biden’s list of grandchildren though is the child Hunter Biden had with former stripper Lunden Roberts.
The two share a 4-year-old daughter, Navy Jones Roberts, who Roberts is raising on her own as the Biden son has yet to publicly acknowledge her existence.
Hunter Biden was ordered to provide a DNA test in 2019 that proved he was the biological father of Navy. Roberts has been locked in a long-running child support battle with Hunter Biden, who says the president's son should be thrown in an Arkansas jail after he refused to hand over financial records for child support.
