A new report has revealed that the Joe Biden-led US government has taken in at least one economic migrant in the past year for every American newborn or high-school graduate.

Federal data released on Oct. 21 revealed that over 4 million economic migrants traversed through the US-Mexico border during Fiscal Year 2023, according to Breitbart News.

An even smaller number of 3.67 million Americans were born during 2022, which includes the first three months of fiscal year 2023, per the CDC. Included in that figure are almost 400,000 children of illegal aliens, often referred to as "anchor babies."

Breitbart noted that this massive inflow of migrants results in more economic competition for the 3 million Americans who recently graduated from school.

The inflow of migrants for 2023 has reached 2.62 million along the southern border and counting after data from September showed an added 341,000 southern migrants. This number does not include around 1.5 million "gotaways," meaning that the number is likely closer to over 4 million.

Only 300,000 migrants were deported from the US between May and September 2023.

There are also around 1 million legal immigrants and another million visa workers who stay for a few months or several years. Including those people in the mix means that Biden let in two migrants for each newborn American.

United States Secretary of Homeland Security Secretary and Biden border chief Alejandro Mayorkas, who is foreign-born, said to the Senate's judiciary committee in May that "our legal immigration system is not designed to meet the needs of employers here in the United States."

"We have employers who are striving to hire, to find people who could fill jobs to contribute to our country’s economic prosperity, he said at the time. "Regrettably, regrettably, our legal immigration system is not designed to meet that need of employers here in the United States."

Amid this crisis of illegal immigration at the US-Mexico border, a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 57 percent of independent voters agree that immigration is making life harder for native-born Americans. Breitbart reports that this number is up from 48 percent in July 2023.
