The Biden administration is spending nearly six figures on diversity and inclusion seminars for the U.S. Air Force Band, according to a Department of Defense contract awarded to a Philadelphia orchestra.

The Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra was awarded the contract for $91,000 from the DOD on May 6, reported Fox News. According to their website, the band has spent the last ten years "proving that a visible commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion can have a lasting and positive impact on communities AND the orchestra."

"Black Pearl's education and community engagement activities are unique because they offer audiences unprecedented and direct access to the musicians and conductor," Black Pearl's website states.

The orchestra will reportedly train the Air Force Band, which has 184 active-duty members, in "diversity and inclusion."

In June, the orchestra received an additional grant of $100,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts, with money from President Joe Biden's American Rescue Plan "to support personnel and facilities expenses in response to and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic."

The DOD contract with Back Pearl will expire on May 5, 2023.

According to CNBC, the U.S. military fell short of its recruitment goals for 2022 by 25 percent, and cut its projection for its total force for this year by 10,000.

Only 48 percent of Americans have "a great deal of confidence" in the US military.

"This is what happens when you have an administration that is hellbent on implementing woke policies for our servicemembers, rather than ones that strengthen our military," she tweeted.
