The agitators were seen blocking a vehicle attempting to drive out of a NYC parking garage.
The agitators were seen in video posted to X from Freedom News TV, where law enforcement clashed with the agitator blocking federal agents in the parking structure.
The agitators were seen blocking a vehicle attempting to drive out of the parking garage as the anti-ICE crowd chanted, "ICE out of New York." At least two people were taken into custody during the clash between the law enforcement and left-wing agitators, per the New York Post.
The agitators tried to move barricadesthat had been set up by law enforcement during the chaos. Video online also showed the agitators creating a blockade of trash in an attempt to prevent ICE agents from leaving the building.
Video showed the agitators screaming “you are corrupt,” and many ignored NYPD officers’ demands to “back up” when they were setting up the barricades. Reports indicated that ICE was planning on conducting an immigration raid in the area before the agitators showed up.
With New York City electing incoming Mayor Zohran Mamdani, it is unclear what approach he will take with illegal immigration. On the campaign trail, he signaled that the Trump administration would not be able to conduct ICE enforcement as under Adams. But after his cordial meeting with Trump at the White House, it remains to be seen what policy New York City will have under his tenure.
