Jed York, the CEO and owner of the NFL franchise, was booked into Columbiana County Jail.
York, the CEO and owner of the NFL franchise, was booked into Columbiana County Jail, according to the New York Post. However, the charge for prostitution was changed to disorderly conduct. He was also found guilty of possesing criminal tools.
York was sentenced to serve two days in jail and also has to pay a fine of $1,150. $1,000 was for the criminal tools and $150 was for the disorderly conduct charge. He posted a bond of $5,000. York has roots in Ohio and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. York is married and has two sons with his wife Danielle Belluomini.
He was named the CEO of the 49ers franchise in 2008 and has been the majority owner of the franchise since 2024. According to WKBN, which was first to report the arrest, a police report stated, “On August 23, 2026, the East Palestine Police Department assisted the MVHTTF on the arrest of John York."
The arrest took place at 9:35 am at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community.
Court record showed that his phone was seized and then returned to York and that $160 taken from him during the arrest will be forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
