The CBC reports that Alberta Health Minister Tyler Shandro will be a casualty of Premier Jason Kenney's Cabinet shuffle, according to government officials.
Sources say Minister of Labour and Immigration Jason Copping will be put into the health minister's role.
Shandro will give up the health portfolio and take over Copping’s old portfolio.
The trade-off was made official at a short ceremony this afternoon.
Kenney and Dr. Deena Hinshaw will take questions from reporters at a live COVID-19 update at 5 pm.
