Thursday, former President Donald J. Trump released a video taunting President Biden to participate in a debate. Not long after Trump posted the video clip to his Truth Social account, President Biden told reporters to set up a debate.

In a video clip posted to Truth Social, Trump said: “Come on, Joe. Let’s do it! Anytime, anywhere, anyplace."

Shortly after, reporters asked President Biden inside the White House: "When will you debate President Trump?"

"Set it up!" Biden replied.

This comes after a Biden campaign spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that the president will deliver on his promise to debate his top political rival.

When asked if Biden would debate Trump, and if it was even "necessary," the spokesperson said that "President Biden has made it very clear he will be debating Donald Trump."

This is not the first time Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, has called on President Biden to debate him.

During a campaign rally in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania last month, Trump unveiled an empty podium beside him on stage which was meant for President Biden.

"I’m calling on crooked Joe Biden to debate. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace!” said Trump.

The 45th President also recently challenged Biden to debate him outside the Manhattan courthouse where his falsified business documents case is occurring, which the former President has referred to as “Biden Trials.”
