In an episode of War Room on Tuesday, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon revealed that the Conservative Political Action Conference is kicking off a new initiative called the Center For Combating Human Trafficking, adding that it is coming in the wake of the new Sound of Freedom movie.

Bannon urged his viewers to attend the film in high numbers before teasing that Matt Schlapp, who chairs the American Conservative Union’s CPAC, will be appearing on the show to talk about the new plan in short order.

“There's a huge massive initiative over this human trafficking,” said the War Room host, who then added, “And by the way, it also has a connection to Ukraine,” before then noting that Tim Ballard and Mel Gibson are working together on a new documentary about human, child, and sex trafficking in Ukraine.

Per CPAC's website, the new plan seeks to push for policies that:

1. Support victims in reintegrating into society and removing collateral consequences resulting from their abuse

2. Strengthen accountability for traffickers

3. Improve cross-collaboration between domestic and international entities dedicated to ending human trafficking

It also emphasizes that there will be involvement with educators, advocates in Washington, DC, grassroots activists, and more.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
