On Tuesday, Former President Donald Trump posted to Instagram and Facebook for the first time since January 5, 2021.

The post featured a photo of one of his second Digital Trading Card collection, and a message to supporters which stated: "I am pleased to inform you that, due to the great success of my previously launched DIGITAL TRADING CARDS, we are doing it again, SERIES 2, AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW."

In a second post, Trump said: "I hope everyone notices, & I’m sure the Fake News won’t, that I’m leaving the price of the Trading Cards the same as last time, even though they are selling for MANY TIMES MORE (It’s called the MARKET!), & sold out almost immediately, because I want my fans & supporters to make money, & have fun doing it. I could have raised the price MUCH HIGHER, & I believe it still would have sold well, with a lot more money coming to me, but I didn’t choose to do so. I WILL BE GIVEN NO 'NICE GUY' CREDIT?"

Trump was banned from Instagram on January 7, 2021, in the aftermath of the storming of the US Capitol by his supporters on January 6, 2021.

Instagram, along with other social media platforms, cited concerns over the potential for Trump's posts to incite violence as the reason for his ban.

The former president has yet to post on Twitter, where his following is the largest. he had previously said that he sees no reason to return to the platform, as he has already worked to create his own platform, Truth Social, where he can post freely.

Trump made the comments after a poll of Twitter users voted to reinstate Trump. The poll, which was voted on 15,085,458 times, voted to reinstate the president by a total of 51.8 percent "Yes" votes to 48.2% "No" votes.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
