Former President Donald Turmp will be attending Tuesday's arguments regarding his presidential immunity motion in the Jan. 6 case being led by Jack Smith.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump made the announcement that he would be attending the arguments come Tuesday.

Trump wrote, "I will be attending the the [sic] Federal Appeals Court Arguments on Presidential Immunity in Washington, DC, on Tuesday. Of course I was entitled, as President of the United States and Commander in Chief, to Immunity. I wasn’t campaigning, the Election was long over."

The post comes after Trump's team filed a motion that Jack Smith should be held in contempt of court after Judge Tanya Chutkan put the case on pause in December

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
