In an X Spaces held on Thursday, Elon Musk said the list of demonetized words revealed by Libs of TikTok’s Chaya Raichik "needs to be trimmed," and promised to get on this.

"I should preface this by saying we do a lot of dumb things … one should not attribute to malice that which easily can be explained by incompetence."

He explained that many of these "foolish things" needed to be fixed, adding in regards to the list Raichik compiled, "I’ve looked at this list and it’s — some of the terms on the list I’m like, look, if it’s a bad word, I’m clearly — I need to look up or get a dictionary or something, you know, because I didn’t realize it was a bad word."

"So this list, that list needs to be trimmed."

Words included in this list that would demonetize an account include groomer, LGBTQ, Police, and ugly, with Raichik censoring the words in her post with asterisks.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
