Agents from the FBI were seen entering the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center in Georgia on Wednesday afternoon, carrying out a search.

Per Fox News, the probe is related to the 2020 election. The facility agents were seen entering opened in 2023 and was designed to streamline the county’s election process.

In October, the Department of Justice demanded that the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections hand over records related to what the state’s board of elections called "unexplained anomalies in vote tabulation and storage related to the 2020 election."

In late July, the Georgia State Elections Board voted 3-2 to pass a resolution seeking assistance from the DOJ to reexamine the 2020 election in Fulton County. This came after the state board subpoenaed Fulton County on election night in 2024, seeking documents related to the 2020 election, including ballot images, chain-of-custody forms, lists of voters, documentation of security seals, and ballot scanner paperwork. During the July 30 hearing in which the vote took place, it was revealed that the subpoena had not been complied with.
