At least three people including a 2 year old were shot near Seattle's Central District neighborhood Sunday afternoon according to the Seattle Police Department.

Police said that they received multiple reports around 3:25 pm Sunday of shots fired at the intersection of 23rd Ave S. and Jackson St. The suspect was seen traveling southbound on foot along 23rd Avenue S. when they came around the corner and fired shots into an Autozone parking lot.

When officers arrived they found shell casings and blood in the intersection but no victims. According to SPD, around the same time officers arrived at the scene, two victims were dropped off at Harborview Medical Center and one victim was dropped off at Swedish Medical Center's Cherry Hill Campus. Police said the 2-year-old is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center

A suspect has not been located or identified but police believe the shooter walkedto the parking lot at 23rd Ave S and Jackson St and opened fire.

An investigation is underway. Seattle Police are asking any witnesses to come forward with any information and to contact homicide detectives by calling 206-233-5000. It is not known at this time what led to the shooting.
