A GoFundMe crowdsourcing fundraiser for admitted child-killer Lindsay Clancy and her family has reached over $1,000,000. The goal of the fundraiser is $2,000,000 and it appears that, as the case against Clancy continues in a Massachusetts court, they will likely reach that goal.

Clancy faces first degree murder charges in a Plymouth court over the killing of her three children. Prosecutors argue that the killing was premeditated while her defense claims that she is not guilty by reason of insanity. Clancy was on heavy psych medications at the time of the 2023 murders in her Duxbury home and claims to have been suffering from postpartum psychosis. She also said that she was hearing voices urging her to kill her children.

Prosecutors note that she sent her husband off to run errands and then killed her three children by strangling them with exercise bands before trying to take her own life.

The fundraiser is primarily for Clancy's parents. "The Musgrove Family Fund is for the two people who have remained at her side through every step of what followed: her parents, Mike and Paula Musgrove," the fundraiser reads.

"For more than three years, Mike and Paula have shown up for Lindsay. They have attended her court proceedings and relocated from their Connecticut home to Massachusetts so they can be close to their daughter," it goes on to say.

"Paula is retired. Mike is a photographer. They have spent years absorbing the travel, lodging, and living costs required to remain close to their daughter, drawing down savings they spent a lifetime building.

"They have not walked away from their daughter, and they have never been unclear about why: they love her. Nothing about this fund asks anyone to share their view of Lindsay or the criminal case. It asks donors to recognize the extraordinary financial burden her parents have carried simply by continuing to be present.

"The purpose of this fund is to help Mike and Paula rebuild the financial stability they have sacrificed over these past three years."

Clancy has received an outpouring of support, primarily from women who have sympathized with her mental state when the killings took place. They have gathered in pink shirts outside the courthouse to advocate for her to be found not guilty and to attempt to bring awareness to the need for mental health support for postpartum women.

Clancy had a nanny, her husband worked from home, and she had many doctors and therapists who were helping her figure out her prescription drug regimen.
