On the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk decried the current state of San Francisco and civilization at large, pinning the blame on the "mind virus" being spread far and wide by the woke left.

The tech billionaire nonetheless urged people to have hope, and continue fighting to "right the ship."

"What philosophy led to that outcome?" Musk asked, referring to the zombification of the Bay Area and indoctrination of Americans.

"A philosophy that would ordinarily be quite niche, and ideologically constrained so that the fallout area would be limited, was effectively given an information weapon ... to propagate what is essentially a mind virus to the rest of Earth."

He went on to explain that "the outcome of that mind virus is very clear if you walk around the streets of downtown San Francisco," deeming it "the end of civilization."

The topic came up after Rogan asked Musk about how he felt about X one year after purchasing the app, formerly known as Twitter.

"What was it ultimately that led you to make the decision to do it," he asked.

"This is gonna sound somewhat melodramatic," Musk replied, "but I was worried that it was having a corrosive effect on civilization, that it was just having a bad impact."

He highlighted the headquarter's location in downtown San Francisco, noting that while the city itself is beautiful and worth fighting for, "if you walk around ... it's a zombie apocalypse."

"I've heard it's crazy," Rogan replied. "I've heard you really can't believe it until you actually go there."

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
