BREAKING: Police ID Ashley Garibay as In-N-Out employee killed by Chad Williams in Twin Falls shooting

The In-N-Out employee that was shot and killed by shooter Chad Williams at the Saturday mass shooting in Idaho has been identified as Ashley Garibay, 23, who moved to the state from California. 

Garibay, of Stockton, California, was an employee of the newly opened restaurant before Williams, 24, went on a shooting rampage at the chain, killing the 23-year-old and two others. 

Friends and family posted on Monday, identifying Garibay as one of the victims. “Oh my beautiful friend…my heart breaks seeing your pictures knowing they’ll just be memories now,” her friend, Alissa Juarez, said in a Facebook post.  

Garibay's mother, Sabrina, changed her profile picture to include a photo of herself along with her deceased daughter. “Ashley you are so beautiful. You will be missed so much,” another person said about the photo. 

“I remember when you were baby and you to come stay with me so mom could go to work. With your brother and sister. You have become a beautiful young lady. Rest in paradise mija,” the user added. 

“She was taking care of our most important asset – our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own," In-N-Out Burger President Lynsi Snyder said in an emotional statement. 

“IN-N-OUT will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season,” Snyder said, adding that her “heart also goes out to all of the Associates and Customers who were there during this traumatic event.” 

Garibay was one of three people who Williams shot before he turned the gun on himself. Cristopher Claunch, 59, was also shot and killed while he was going to the location for the first time after the chain opened in Twin Falls, Idaho for the first time on July 24.
