Police responded to an active shooter situation at an In-N-Out restaurant in Idaho on Saturday afternoon. The Twin Falls Police Department urged people to avoid the area and said the shooter has been killed.

At least three people were killed and two others were injured in the shooting incident, per NBC News. Video going viral online showed a man shooting a gun into a Tesla next to the restaurant as well as another person appearing to respond to the alleged shooter with a handgun. The suspected shooter is also deceased, according to authorities.

"Our department is responding to an active shooter incident in the area of In-N-Out. We are asking all residents and visitors to avoid the area so officers and first responders can work safely. Roads in the area, including the bridge, are currently closed. Please use alternate routes and do not attempt to enter the area," Twin Falls Police said in a post to social media.

Local reports said that police were searching through a hotel that is overlooking the visitors' center for the shooter. Businesses around the area were put on lockdown, and there are paramedics at the scene. City spokesman Josh Palmer said that it is expected the number of people injured will increase.

The shooting began inside the In-N-Out, according to Palmer.

"Praying for everyone in Twin Falls as first responders continue searching for the suspect near In-N-Out. Twin Falls Police, Idaho State Police, and fire and paramedic crews remain on scene working to secure the area. If you’re in the area, please listen to local authorities and stay away from In-N-Out and the surrounding streets so first responders can do their jobs," Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador said in a post to X.

"I’m monitoring the news out of Twin Falls of an active shooter situation. I urge locals and visitors to obey all directions from law enforcement, avoid the area, and report any suspicious activity immediately. I’m grateful for the swift response of Idaho’s first responders," Senator Mike Crapo said in a post to X.

The In-N-Out is the fourth location to open in the state and had its opening on July 24.
