On Friday morning, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) launched what he called his "Never Nikki" campaign against her candidacy for president.

The Thursday prior, Paul had posted to his X account that he would be saying something about the upcoming 2024 election.

Paul posted a thread on X explaining his reason for the "Never Nikki" campaign.

He wrote, "As I look over the field, I don’t think I yet have a first choice, but I do know one thing: count me in as #NeverNikki!"

Paul relayed his experiences with each of the other candidates in the Republican primary as well as the views of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Without saying who he would endorse, Paul said that he would not be able to support Haley for the presidency.

"I'm not yet ready to make a decision, but I am ready to make a decision on someone who I cannot support," Paul stated. "So, I'm announcing this morning that I'm Never Nikki."

Paul told voters who would not support Haley to go to "nevernikki.net" to voice their disapproval of her candidacy.

Listing his reasons for launching the campaign, Paul said that he had "seen her attitude towards interventions overseas" as well as "her involvement in the military industrial complex." In addition, Paul focused on the point that Haley has suggested that you "need to be registered to use the internet."

Paul added to the post, "Based on her record and campaign, I don’t see how any thoughtful or informed libertarian or conservative should vote for
@NikkiHaley. If you agree, let your voice be heard."

Further along in the post for the announcement, Paul gave more details of Haley's record of engaging in the "military industrial complex."

He added that Haley has a "thirst for war" and has talked about creating a "Department of Offense" instead of using the Department of Defense the nation already has.

"She even personally received millions of dollars from the arms merchants who benefit from the war, a conflict of interest that undergirds her eagerness for foreign military intervention," Paul continued. "While most others were decrying the mistakes of the past 20 years, and fighting for an America First foreign policy,
@NikkiHaley was aligning herself with and declaring her foreign policy allies to be John McCain and Lindsey Graham."

Throughout the post, Paul repeatedly referred people to "nevernikki.net" and ended saying, "I am #NeverNikki and I hope you will be too."
