Rudy Giuliani was ordered on Tuesday by a federal judge to hand over his Manhattan penthouse apartment and other valuable goods to Georgia elections workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss who won a defamation case against him.

Judge Lewis Liman of the federal court in Manhattan ruled that Giuliani must turn over his interest in the property within seven days to a receivership that the two women will control, CNN reported. The women will also be entitled to around $2 million in legal fees Giuliani has said that the Trump campaign still owes him.

Additionally, Giuliani must turn over his watch collection, which includes ones given to him by European leaders in the wake of 9/11, signed sports memorabilia, and a 1980 Mercedes, as well as his television, some items of furniture, and jewelry. The judge has not yet decided the fate of Giuliani's Palm Beach, Florida, condominium or the four New York Yankees World Series rings he owns, which Giuliani's son says his father gave to him.

In December, a federal jury awarded Freeman and Moss $148 million in their defamation case against Giuliani. They testified that Giuliani’s allegations of discrepancies in the 2020 election in the state prompted them to endure racial and violent threats, which allegedly upended their lives. Joseph Sibley, An attorney for Giuliani, told the jurors ahead of the verdict that a major monetary penalty would be the "civil equivalent of the death penalty." Giuliani was found liable for defaming Freeman and Moss by US District Judge Beryl Howell in August 2023.
