Fox News' Shannon Bream broke the news on Friday that Justice Samuel Alito has issued an order from the Supreme Court that ballots that were received after 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 in Pennsylvania are to be "segregated and secured."

Alito ordered that the opposition side must respond by Saturday at 2 p.m.

"BREAKING FROM SCOTUS:  Justice Alito has issued an Order than any ballots received [after] 8pm on election day in PA be segregated and secured - and if counted, counted separately. There is a petition pending before SCOTUS.  Alito orders opposing side to reply by 2 [pm] Saturday," Bream tweeted.

Alito's order read, according to Bream, that "neither the applicant (PA GOP) nor the Secretary has been able to verify that all boards are complying with the Secretary's guidance, which, it is alleged, is not legally binding on them."

Pennsylvania's electoral votes have been tightly contested during what's become known as election week, as both campaigns wish to claim the state for their own. Allegations of voter fraud have been flying from the Trump camp, with observers for the GOP having been denied entry to polling places.

Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's lawyer, held a press conference in the city of brotherly love stating that they wanted the count stopped so that observers could be present to make sure there were no shenanigans with balloting.

Pennsylvania being called for Biden would secure the election for him.
